Continuing on our very popular winter series, we take a look at the Moffat Route west
of Denver through the Colorado Rockies. We see Union Pcific coal trains with distributed
power, with former SP and UP AC units, BNSF trackage rights trains, Amtrak, and the Ski
train with 3 former Amtrak F40's painted in a Rio Grande like scheme. Taped in January,
2001, we see and hear trains working hard in sunshine and heavy snow in the scenic
splendor of the Rocky Mountains.
