| MINNESOTA STEAM SPECTACULAR |
| |
 |
Come along and join C. Vision Productions as we capture the finest steam action in the Land of 10,000 Lakes! 2003 and 2004 was an exciting time for steam enthusiasts in Minnesota as two classic locomotives pulled excursions on Canadian Pacific rails.
Milwaukee Road #261 returned to its home rails on Canadian Pacific’s River Sub in October of 2003. This line is the old Milwaukee Road main line from the Twin Cities to Chicago. The 261 once pulled freight on these rails and this excursion was the first time the engine rolled down these tracks since being rebuilt.
In the summer of 2004, Canadian Pacific’s Hudson #2816 paid a visit to Minnesota for several excursions. We capture the 2816 as it pulled a special for the Milwaukee Road Historical Association on the River Sub. Then the 2816 joined with the 261 for a double header excursion for the National Railway Historical Society and the 2004 Grand Excursion on the Mississippi River.
C. Vision cameras don’t stop there. We follow the 2816 on a journey over the C.P.’s Paynesville Sub as the Hudson heads for home in Calgary. Then, just when you think all the action subsides, we add a bonus scene with Canadian Pacific’s F-Units leading a Kentucky Derby Special in the spring of 2003 over the Paynesville Sub.
You’ll feel “right there” as you view great steam and diesel action, all with natural sounds and no narration. Enjoy the beauty these locomotives display in “Minnesota Steam Spectacular!”
Natural Hi-Fi Sound, No narration
Running time 79 minutes

lakes, glaciers, forests, eagles and bears. The DVD includes an additional 9 minutes in three short specials that are not on the

| BIG STEAM'S LAST STAND - WINTER ON JINGPENG PASS |
 Large Image |
China's Jitong Railway is the last big steam hauled main line in the world, with double headed QJ 2-10-2's taking trains over
Jingpeng Pass. We visited Jingpeng Pass in Mongolia in February, 2003 to take in the sights and sounds of big steam working hard,
and what a trip it was. We visted the shops at Shenyang to see QJ's being overhauled, the sheds and shops at Deban (it's like
travelling back in time 50 years) then watched the action over Jingpeng Pass, visited the CTC room at Shangdian, watched
servicing at Jingpeng and had a cab ride over the pass. What an experience being on the second engine working hard upgrade
through a tunnel! Awesome big steam action!

sides, for the first time in over 40 years. This immaculately restored(by the Ohio Central steam crews), has been a hit with
steam fans in the United states since its first trips in the fall of 2001(See our "6325 Return to Steam" video for more on 6325).
